Dancefloor instincts are particularly evident in Hadi Zeidan's new EP "obscure sounds for small clubs".
After the release of "Taksim Analog", a 7-track LP that re-created neo-Arabic rhythmics using analog synth machines, Zeidan's musical route finds its way into an obscure electronic opus to be played in clubs.
The 4 compositions court full-on psychedelia as a colorful orchestra of analog synths mingles with peculiar rhythms, hypnotizing bass lines, free-jazz grooves and airy pads generated by the legendary 1970s synth Yamaha CS80.
If the previous works of Hadi Zeidan are known to be inspired by Arabic sounds, here he gives his "habitués" and the new listeners something to discover from the resonance of his versatile crates.
EP available on 12" vinyl and on all digital platforms.
